Why Does a Newborn Baby Cry and How to Bathe Them?
Newborn babies may cry for various reasons, most commonly due to hunger and dirty diapers. Therefore, if your newborn is crying, you should first try to feed them, then check their diaper for cleanliness, and if they are still crying despite these, ensure they are not experiencing gas. If your baby continues to cry after all these checks, you should consult a doctor.
How to Bathe a Newborn Baby?
For your baby's first bath, you need to wait for the umbilical cord to fall off. After that, prepare lukewarm water in a tub specifically purchased for your baby and using it for the first time. Then, using small cotton balls, block your baby's ears to prevent water from entering, and holding them from the chest with their face looking towards the tub, wash their head first. Afterwards, wash their body and quickly dry and dress them.
